Throw cancellation problem and diamond dynasty

Is anybody else having a problem when you fake the throw but right after that you can't chase down the Runner. Basically the fielder who fake the throw is just standing there and all you could do is throw it to the other base

The thing that always happens to me is when someone bunts and I think I have time to throw to second then go to cancel it and throw to first by the time my guy actually throws it to first even a 0 speed guy will make it safely. It shouldn't take a player that long to adjust and throw to a different base.
