I have a odd question about diamond bats

I've always wondered about this an just decided to see what you guys think..So I'm curious to know are all the bats with 9 power 5 contact the same?...like does it matter which one I get or is the description on each bat legit or it's just for show?i got the 2k1 maple that is Barry bonds bat because it says it holds single season record of 73 homeruns in a season but another diamond bat with same stats is mookie Betts bat from his mvp season an it says it has bat speed improved barrel control.then there's another one that says it's a bigger barrel for bigger sweet spot...I'm just curious like I said before is it for show or is it legit.. because if so picking a bat just became kinda fun for me to see which is a better bat for my style..any thoughts would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance..

They are just cosmetic and the attributes apply to your created player only. So the + 9 power and the + 5 contact will work for your created player when he is batting but for the rest of your team it is just for the looks. Certain bats do not make you swing faster or anything like that if that's what you are asking.

Ya I'm just asking if the description on said equipment is just for show.I know how everything works and all that. I was just bored an was reading the description on the bats an saw bigger barrel an sweet spot on one and a different one had faster bat speed another had like smaller handle for better something an I thought for a second I had been buying the wrong bats all this time because I usually just buy whatever bat had the best ratings like 9 power 5 contact an didn't care what it looked like...would be cool if that a 7-7 contact/power bat might still be better than a 9-5 contact/power bat just because of what particular things it says in description an you actually got a bigger barrel and sweet spot an made pci bigger just because of how the bat was "made" you know give a real reason why the bat says lightning in description besides just because it has a lightning bolt..but I guess that's too much thought an detail for this game lol oh well thanks for the response

It's all just fluff. Pick the one with the best rating and if there are multiple ones with the same rating pick the one that matches your team's color scheme the best.
