With the universal DH rule coming for this year, and possibly here to stay, it is time to give us the DH.

I doubt we'll see it in 2020. If the MLB goes with it in 2021, I'd expect it in next year's game

If they added universal DH they would have to compensate with position player energy. Otherwise the only things to use your bench for is line change platoons and pinch running.

Agreed. I would also like the durability attribute of a card linked to how quickly their energy drains.

Because having the pitcher in the batting order adds a level of strategy and decision making to the game. If you're in the bottom 4th down by 1 with the bases loaded and 2 outs and your pitcher is up to hit, do you pull him from the game and pinch hit in hope to score some runs? Maybe you'll pull him and pinch hit but choke like a champion. Or do you keep him in, confident you'll score more runs down the line?
I love this stuff and I would hate for them to remove it.
