I guess I always see Kluber because

Any time I light him up in the first inning, my opponent quits. And by "light up" I mean "score two runs." Do people just give up the second Kluber doesn't dominate so they can save him for their next game??

I've never quit a game, I'd rather get 10 run ruled than quit. So for me it's a "no", but I'm sure there are some people out there that might do this. There are a lot of people that do quit, to each their own I guess.

It is nice because 1) Win and 2) YOU can re-use your SP but yeah I get it. With the stamina update you either have to rest your SP a game or lose a couple innings which is kinda annoying if you were hoping to run 7 innings to prestige a guy

A lot of those quits are more likely due to a horribly laggy connection than it is due to giving up a couple runs. If I get into a game and the pitch freezes every time I throw it, or the meter jumps all over the place, I offer a friendly. If they say no, I try to tough it out, but I prefer quitting to 9 innings of that.
I play RS for fun, I don't do it for rating or record. So, if the lag makes the game unplayable, I quit and find a better game connection.
The servers have been pretty bad at times this year, so keep that in mind when people quickly quit.
