Why? I like the 100+ it is very cool. Also you are saying Babe Ruth doesn’t deserve a 99?

Novel idea: why not give elite cards to players that actually deserve it.
You mean like people who play a lot, earn cards they can sell, stubs and XP as rewards for their diligence, who then use those stubs to buy the elite cards or packs they want with the stubs they earned....those people?
No... elite players like Lou Gehrig and not Jo Adell. You know, the players that deserve 99 rated cards.
Ahhhh - sorry man. I thought you meant like only elite players of the game should get them. My bad...and yeah, I totally agree.

If these packs go for 40k + I'm going to have to be blown away to even consider purchasing any of the packs.

No. I think you can have 99s without over inflated attributes.
