Collection Advice

I have never done collections before and lately have been thinking about trying to complete them. I was wondering if it would be worth selling the core of my current team Ellsbury, Chipper, Boggs, May, and Dibble which with my current stubs would net me around 400k, and trying to complete the NL or AL?

Still about a Million Shy...For what it's worth

You need way more than 400k to complete it my man. I’d sell whoever’s replaceable (keep Dibble)

I’d be patient. I’ve slowly completed 20 teams in the collection. I have some of the higher tier diamonds like Trout but haven’t locked them in. No point unless I’m going to complete the entire live series collection. With the next inning coming I should be able to build some stubs and hopefully get this completed.

All those players are not worth only sheff or biggio. If it was for mickey then yes bit not for only half the collection

I have been working on the collection since release, with admittedly horrible pack luck, and I’m still DeGrom away from being done (So......close.....). I have probably spent a 1.2 million stubs to get to this point, I’ve chased every free stub, xp, or card I could, and I have sold pretty much every asset I’ve acquired.
Not to discourage you - if you want it, go for it. But go into it with open eyes - it’s a marathon, and once you start down that path, you’re kinda pot committed (the only reason I haven’t gone mad is because there haven’t been many great cards to spend stubs on anyway). And my take on AL vs NL: Sheffield is better than Biggio, but AL has more useable players on the way to Biggio (Trout, Wagner, Aroldis and Giambi are all in my lineup...nobody from the NL is).
Do whatever will be the most fun for you...good luck either way.
