If I needed a home run, I would swing power mode. It worked. Just a hit, contact swing. It worked. I started calling him “Big Boy,” so every time I hit a home run with him, I would yell “Big Boy has done it again!” I also went for 2nd if I needed an XBH. I would hope that the defense would throw home to get the runner, letting me get to 2nd. That helped a lot.
