Why ask for stats?
-
Let’s be real guys.... you can get the stats without messaging people... That’s a little to much my messages are off but after a few dingers people just fold..I have thank to the people who give them to me but it ain’t necessary. Bc unless I’m up 15 I’m not returning the favor. I’m 9 runs from the prestige Mikey that’s really the only prestige player I want the others will be replaced eventually

If you want stats just name your team "_______ and I'll quit." Messaging seems a little unnecessary I would just turn your messaging off

Taken from Reddit:
The way I look at it is this. Let’s say I try to prestige Bellinger naturally. Let’s say in an optimal scenario **I hit .333 or roughly 1 hit per game and all of the hits are home runs.
I would need 57 (I think) homers to complete all the missions** meaning 57 games. This is the optimal scenario likely I wouldn’t hit .300 and certainly all my hits would not be home runs meaning that number probably gets pushed up into the 100+ games category
Some people don't play 57 ranked / Events games in total.
Do that for Mantle and Sheffield, their requirements are even higher. I’d be playing RS until the Show ‘22 before they got prestiged.
2K ran into the same problem and I have the same suggestion for SDS as I did for 2K:
Make the requirements “Win X amount of games online with Player Y in you’re lineup”
Win X amount of games offline on All-Star difficulty or higher with Player Y in your lineup”
Lower the stat requirements and add wins to promote ppl playing normally while also making it doable in a reasonable amount of grinding.

I prestiged Bellinger naturally last night. Only about 2 hits were given where my opponent ran out from under a pop up giving him a hit in the first inning before I knew what he was doing. I am hitting .450 with him with around 40 home runs. All done in the event. It's called prestige because its hard. Not for everyone. If you hit ~.300 in this event with Bellinger you shouldn't be able to prestige him.

All I know is there's gonna be a lot of low skilled players with prestiged diamonds...good for them

With the event I’d assuming prestige stats would be easier. Some of these event games I’ve played have been 15-12 or like 10-7. Just examples. There’s a lot of runs and at bats in these games and they are only three innings.

I sometimes do. I don’t care if people listen or not, they came to play a game. Not to help people prestige players and win. I’m not mad if they don’t.

Messages off isnt even helping, now getting friend requests asking me for stats.
