I got a monitor about a month ago and my game has jumped from 600/low 700s up to consistently being 700/800...got as high as 895.

Anyway, I hit a losing streak and found myself playing alot of games in All Star setting due to matchups. In addition, I grinded the Event for McGriff which was on All-Star as well. You really can't pitch on All-Star at all. Pitching is the dominant part of my game and find the guys and pitches/location that work so effectively in HoF mode, don't translate so well in All-Star.

All star is a nightmare. Pitches go where ever they want.

Yup, I can’t even escape to HoF because I give up too many runs. That’s probably why I have such a poor opinion of this years game, I’ve never played so much all star RS as I have so far this year. It’s a carnival on AS settings and no mistake.

All star is a foul ball fest or check swing fest. Usually both and pitches that you get strikeouts on hall of game are foul tipped in all star. I think they should just put everything on hof, if you can’t adjust oh well

If they don’t want hall of fame then I think they need to reduce the PCI size. I’m not really sure why they decided to make the PCI size bigger in the last hitting patch but I feel like that’s led to even more fouls balls. Even Gallo has a relatively large outer PCI on All Star. And yea the whole check swing system is completely broken. I’ve never seen so many check swings called a ball that blatantly go well more than halfway through the zone.

If you look at all the guys on the top of the leader boards everyone of them has an era that is 4 or higher. I’ve never made it higher than 700

My favorite is when you play the kids that clearly have no idea of the fundamentals of baseball, they just mash the x button and get rewarded with a hr every inning. These guys go 1,2,3 on 3 pitches, i sweat out a 27 pitch inning, have solid, quality at bats, but leave 2 on. The next inning these aholes are just smacking hrs on the 1st and 2nd pitch, a foot outside of the strikezone. This game does not reward the basics, good play, and quality baseball. It rewards idiots that just mash x. The game, NOT THE INPUTS, determine when you can strike people out, when you make solid contact, the power and contact swing dont even create variance in outcome. The rng is op and makes it virtually unplayable.
Its really sad that i can lose a game and can tell its like a 12 year old kid on the other end who has no knowledge of baseball, or any sort of disciplined approach, but the game decided it was time for me to lose 1. Losing is a thing i can handle with 0 problem, outplay me please, but losing to less skilled players because of invisible handcuffs make me want to delete video games from my ps4
