One change I hope happens next year is outfield urgency to get the ball in especially when it's an important situation.
Outfielders are taught when the ball goes to the wall and is sitting there waiting to be picked up you plant foot grab ball and anticipate the direction of your throw listening to cut off man turn fire and try to see exact location in that motion.
That is why so many relays are offline and the possibilities of inside the park homeruns...they are just trying to get the ball into the infield as quickly as possible.
They dont pick it up...evaluate situation...gather ball with 30" vertical crow hop and hit the cut off. It's not that big of a deal until you see the runner score one step ahead of the tag.
