My main problem with the game

Your playing against the programming that’s doing everything it can to keep games “interesting”. Goes both ways though. One game your getting favored the next your helpless with your opponent getting favored. It has to be the sim that’s doing it
If I decide to purchase this game again the player vs player needs to buffed and the sim toned down. Why not make an alternate online mode that’s more player vs player for those of us who want a less simulation experience.

You forgot to mention RNG

I feel the sim mostly. I played a lot of games where my opponent was getting good hits to fall but my good hits were automatic outs but then the opposite the next game. To me it’s the sim that is deciding what’s going to happen.

I get what you are saying. The whole purpose of Sim or RNG is to keep marginal ability players in the game and not leaving. They get some wins given to them to gain some confidence. Next thing you know they think hey if I had a better player I might even do better. Then they start buying stubs to buy that better player. It’s SDS business plan to make money and that money is most made in DD. MLB 16 was really the last time that user input was the most valid. Every year seems to have more sim as you call it or RNG than the previous version. SDS is more about making money than user input gameplay. It is a business after all.

It’s imposible to compete against RNG. Last game I lost 2-1. I had 12 hits and my opponent 6. The game only gave me 1 run and apart from having twice the amount of hits than my opponent I had more perfect and squared than him.
12 inning had a good release with my pitcher but it went for a wild pitch. Next pitch my opponent got an early cheese hit for walk it off.
How can you compete against that? Better input should win every time.
It’s like we can only control like 25% of the game outcome.

This game homeruns or nothing. About 90% of my runs via homerun it gets tiring.
