This is exactly what events are though.
Good, should be no problem to implement it into RS then.
They are two different modes. If you don’t like RS, just play events only.
I like 9 inning games, thanks for the suggestion though.
You’re asking for RS to have a set number of wins needed to make WS. That’s what events are. You just want things to be easier, when they don’t need to be.
How would it make it easier if your playing opponents who have achieved the same level your currently at? Explain to me how that makes it easier.
Because you could lose 1000 games, and still make WS once you reach the set win total needed.
How dumb do you have to be to not realize how much easier that would be?
You can make your point without being rude.
I’m just saying what everybody is thinking. Plenty of other people said the same thing without being “rude”, and look how that ended up.
Rudeness does not emphasize a point, it only puts the other person on the defensive, and that's how all this censored bs happens.
Let's just not be rude. This goes for everyone.
I said earlier that it wasn't a bad idea, that Ranked seasons does need an overhaul, I conceded the point that the way ranked currently is isn't ideal.
But he couldn't admit that saying it wouldn't be easier is dishonest. He's as much at fault as anyone here.
Just worry about yourself, which it seems you did. If everybody policed themselves we'd be good.

Being unreasonably stubborn is what leads to rudeness.
Being stubborn is worse than being slightly “rude”.
Comparing awful stubbornness and rude is like comparing murder and man slaughter. Neither should happen and neither accomplishes anything.
In this case, one caused the other though.
Without stubbornness, there wouldn’t have been any rudeness.
True, but if someone is stubborn, just let it go. It's not that important. If they think they won the argument, that's fine. You know your own truth.

Right, because I resorted to insults and kept calling you a name after you asked me to stop.
I debated my opinion in a civil manner, you and others couldn’t. You’ve yet to answer my question of why you think losing 10 times in a row after you consistently won to get to a certain level is considered easier.

Because that person that lost 10 times in a row might never reach WS with the current system.
Under your setup, they will reach it eventually if they just win every now and then.
Your setup = making WS = easier
Current setup = not making WS = harder -

I'm not going to rehash everything, because you continually ignore it. But the answer is right in front of your face.
Under the current system, if you lose 10 in a row, you lose rating and you are further from WS
Under the proposed system, if you lose 10 in a row, you are at the same rating and are still the same distance from WS.
It's not rocket science to grasp, just simple logic.

This community is just cancer....Thor makes a good suggestion that would benefit the other 90% of people that can’t make WS on it’s current setup and people just berate him for it. Pathetic pieces of [censored].
Serious question: why SHOULD those 90% make WS?
Because they paid their $100 and put in more than enough time than it should take to beat the game.....See that’s what alot of you are missing here. The Show is a GAME. It should be a challenge but not impossible for 90% of the player base to achieve....And if they made this change then you wouldn’t see this player base leave in droves like it does just a couple months after launch like it does every year. Don’t believe me - Add up the player count from 1st inning compared to 3rd inning.
You can't be serious? So SDS should just hand out access to the top tier in RS?
That's like saying because you paid tuition that you deserve to get an A just for showing up to class.
There are serious problems with gameplay but if you want the best rewards in a h2h competitive setting then you need to earn it. Just showing up is not enough.
Actually it’s not because one is a college education and the other is a VIDEO GAME.

The competition doesn't get harder, because all those mid-level people still get up there because they still win, you aren't only going to be playing gods at the game, you'll be playing anyone with enough time to gather the 10-20 wins needed to get there.
But again, go ahead and ignore the things I've said a million times and live in your own little bubble, it's fine.

Right, because I resorted to insults and kept calling you a name after you asked me to stop.
I debated my opinion in a civil manner, you and others couldn’t. You’ve yet to answer my question of why you think losing 10 times in a row after you consistently won to get to a certain level is considered easier.
But the competition gets harder, that’s literally what I’m referring to but you and others don’t want to pay attention to that.
I've already dealt with that, you just continually ignore it.
Then maybe they should make user input/skill the deciding factor in games so you guys won’t have to worry about someone with nothing but “time” being able to make it to the top level. Take that issue up with SDS.

Good, should be no problem to implement it into RS then.

I agree.
He refuses to see it objectively. So might as well leave OP be. Pretty much everything has been countered and said short of "Get Good" which tbh is probably the accurate advice to OP. Game is flawed as hell, but the game needs to have a competitive scene to continue to grow. Madden has huge tournament/ prize pots for example. This suggestion would bury the game in that scene. Also, SDS doesn't make these WS cards non sellable. The truth is if you're not good enough you can always buy. -

Being unreasonably stubborn is what leads to rudeness.
Being stubborn is worse than being slightly “rude”.
Go talk to the member who repeatedly called me ryan after I asked him to stop about being stubborn. Seriously, do it or quit being biased.
The difference here is that your name actually is Ryan, so he has every right to call you that.
You are unable to admit that you’re wrong and that your idea is bad, even after multiple people have given you reasons why it is. You are unreasonably stubborn.
Please show me your proof of my name being ryan.
We all know about your previous account, Ryan.
Just by him saying "show me the proof", it's just another Ryan phrase he uses all the time, he's literally proving who he is by asking to show proof lol.
What was it, SHOWTIME_ryan or something like that?
