Playable?

Is this game playable online in modes below Legend/HOF? I'm a world series level player, and had internet issues yesterday so lost 5 or 6 with connection drops. I have now gone from 610 to 500 and can't get through a game without at least a string of back to back hr's given up and haven't given up less than 10 runs a game in this skill level. Any tips on this at all/fellow complainers?
