Ranked Season World Series Idea

Why not have a tournament of sorts after the ranked season is over? I would love to hear everyone's idea, but here is one I thought of.
Everyone who made world series is thrown into a knockout pool. Let's say it was 4096 teams for arithmetic's sake. They could make it last a weekish long after the season ends where every night between idk 6-9pm you have to queue into a game. If you win you stay in the pool if you lose you're out. You have to play two games a night until there's only one team left.
You could tranche the teams by 900-950, 950-1000, 1000+
First round weeks would be 1000+ vs. 900-950 teams and then the 950-1000 rated teams face eeach other or however the math works out to make 3 even tranches.
With 4096 teams in WS that equates to playing 13 games to isolate one champion. That's not that many thats actually 2 games a night for a week.
Would love to see some sort of playoff system once you make the 'world series' to crown a champion of each season.

That and setting a time like 6-9pm as suggested would never work as people's lives and schedules will never match up. Also they arent going to concentrate on an idea that only applies to an incredibly small population of the community.

Good point it would just be cool to see someone crowned a champion. I am sure you'd see more viewers on twitch watching a world series playoff pool or bracket. Look at the viewership the players league got? There has to be something they could do in game
