Hitting last year vs this year

I hit over 300 with everyone in my lineup last year playing in the ws division every season. This year most of my players are hitting 250.to.275 whats the difference this year?

To be honest, I think timing windows are a bit iffy, but overall, I find the hitting engine to be leaps and bounds better than last year. I’d say hitting is harder, but much more rewarding.

The timing window is very small. I actually like it because people get careless with their sequencing, so you can hunt pitches in specific counts pretty often.
