MTO rewards?

Never done MTO, what exactly are the rewards for it? Is it similar to showdown?

I believe on Veteran it's a possible 20 points towards TA at all star break and another 20 points at the end of the season. I'm not sure about the playoffs though.

You get awards towards team affinity. The above post is completely wrong. On Veteran, You get 11 points at AS break (2 or less hours), 11 points at the end of the year (1 hour), 5 points for division series, 10 points for championship series, 15 points for WS.
It's a mindless grind, almost fail proof. But it's a guaranteed way to get the TA's done for free.

That might have changed after the most recent patch though, I haven't played MTO since then, I'm collecting the FOTF players through exchanges right now.

Playoffs are a grind because you have to play every game or half a game at least.
