I don't know any ranked game where an 81 reliever is tired after 12 pitches unless you gave up a bunch of hits.

If you are talking about BR or events, of course, they are going to get tired quicker, they have reduced stamina there.

That doesnt sound like a "physics" thing. But then again, spelling is much easier to master than physics so, I am not surprised.

And yes, stamina is basically cut into thirds for 3 inn games.

Physics go out the window in this game. Center pci hit registering as OK contact? Perfect-Perfect leaving the bat slower than the pitch speed? Hits with the ball not even touching the pci?
