Runners on first and second, batter hits a bloop over the shortstop's head. Everyone in the stadium can see its going to fall in except the guy on second who just stands there like the infield fly rule is in effect. Thrown out at third even though I'm holding R1.

it's maddening! In little league we learned to run when there are 2 outs, but not this game lol
-
I was just playing a BR game, I was losing but i had a single. I hit another single and my guy went first to third so i was hoping to score to tie it up, unfortunately my batter on first didn't feel the same. He got the round first base animation, my opponent threw to first and tagged him out as he was coming back to first in slow motion, i then accidentally hit the R1 button and my guy on third rounded to go home and my opponent threw to third and tagged me out, end of inning, FUN!

Never seen baserunning so clumsy as it is this year. Just another thing that got worse.

I meant L1, my bad. But I shouldn't have to press anything. Runners should go base to base on their own. Way too often runners get thrown out waiting for an uncatchable ball to be caught.

You dont have to, but pressing R1 is going to have them retreat so again on you!

as I said I didn't press r1, I pressed l1, I just had a brain cramp writing it here. But you know what I meant and want to argue about it anyway, so whatever.

The AI sucks right now in this game. Rule of thumb in all baseball, two outs and the runners are forced, they are moving forward on contact, but not in this game, they either stand still or run back to the previous base
-
Heck, I had one yesterday where I had a guy on first, and on a flyout he retreated to first when I hit R1 and was standing there until the throw into second was dropped at the 2Bs feet - he then took off for second without me touching a button (or even realizing until it was too late) and was summarily tagged out. I stared at the screen like a manager would like, "What in the @#$&*@# world was that???" I just try and remember that real-life players make dumb decisions sometimes and pretend the AI is just incorporating that into gameplay!
