Certain lvl to customize cap equipment?

Have a problem if anyone can help. Your cap doesn’t have to be a certain lvl right?
I can’t customize his bat or glove, any reason for that?
Also while creating him, it’s doesnt tell me what numbers the marker is on for things like shoulder width and nose size for example.
Ppl fro SDS read these forums right? I’ve said this multiple times it would be nice if someone can speak up a bit. It’s very frustrating.

If you go into the equipment menu and I believe you press like triangle or square and that should allow you to customize his equipment. It's not done in the edit player screen like it would be in RTTS. I got confused about the same thing too so you're not alone.

Yep, the triangle does the trick. You're also able to change the stance socks that several people have been complaining about.
