Buy Trout now or wait?

Well, through pack luck I’ve amassed 300k stubs. When’s the best time to buy Trout?

Probably after the stub sale is over his price might drop a bit. I would just wait and see where his price is at after the stub sale is over. Might save a couple thousand stubs

I'd say buy now. His price really didn't go up as much as I expected. I got him yesterday for 290,500. Pretty sure that the sell now price was right around 277,00 right before the sale. That's only a 13k increase, which is very little in the big picture.

I saw him as high as 320-330 but he came down very quickly.

Just remember, his card is going to stay around that price probably for a while. Even when this stub sale ends, you have the live series event 2 days after. He is going to be the best card in that event so that alone could keep his price where it is at or possibly higher.
