TL:DR Before you say it. I KNOW it is a logistical nightmare to plan, but have some creativity here please.
Body: I have no clue how to make it work, but the idea of a live pvp conquest map would be interesting. Because right now, there's really no need to have a 'strategy' in conquest. Its just a time dump and you really cant lose. But theoretically there could be some endless strategies here. Curious to hear what everyone thinks.
Let's set aside the fact that for a live conquest to actually work, you would need to have what? x amount of players lets call it 8 online live at the same time reasonably close together for connection purposes. Ready to attack and defend and wait for opponents to finish games etc. Let's set aside all of THOSE logistics and think about the logic behind the gameplay it could foster.
Attacking/Defending, building buffers around your bases when to invade opponents bases. Mixing and matching bullpens and saving arms to defend vs. going all out to try to steal opponents bases. Skipping attack phases to reinforce etc. I think it would be such a cool mode if there was a way to make it work logistically. Maybe there is just a bunch of offline moves and then a live window opens every night at 6-8pm where you have to be ready to defend if your base gets attacked. if it is attacked then you have to be ready to play etc. Would love to hear everyone's thoughts
