They don’t have enough non-grindable hitters for them to have all these high level pitchers without counters. But what they need to do is remove the glitch to call SP out the bullpen
I agree, being able to use SP as relievers is lame

That isn't a glitch. It's an intentionally added feature that they marketed prior to the game's release.

I don’t understand how they don’t even have a diamond RP and all the diamond CPs are gained thru BR or RS except 1. I rather them give out free good bullpen arms than to make a game where they give u chances to earn all these unbelievable hitters thru grinding affinity but u can get any good pitchers unless u play the game a lot. I literally faced three guys in a row with kluber then they all bring in some HIGH diamond starter and rotate them every 2 innings

Why even buy the few relievers they have when u can just load up on SP and wait you get three free by time ur gold. U can literally use all three of them and go thru a whole game . Basically it cost u like 50k to get a good pitching team while it cost a [censored] load more to get viable hitters

I’m completely uninspired to keep grinding and play RS atm until they come out with better players in the innings programs and/or release wayyy more options for pitchers. As someone who is good at this game I’m up near all star or watever and now I’m dealing with guys who in silver and gold and it’s annoying because I’m at bronze 75. I have no motivation to keep playing RS which is my favorite because the lack of options at my level and the lack of players I can acquire without grinding. U can’t even buy good hitters right now and all those affinity players just a bunch of long grinds that don’t pay off much. No matter what this game takes skill AND good players, but when u let people who just buy they way thru the game and then benifit from free high cards that can’t be purchased you making those who don’t spend money frustrated because at this point I gotta hope whoever I play don’t use SPs for relievers and / also don’t play with a pitcher I seen a thousand times

Yea I have no problem hitting any pitchers Idm really but what gets annoying is when I grind for all my players for the most part then u go face someone who brought they entire team obviously and then on top that they at silver level and they have kluber and fingers and all those. So no matter what happens within the first couple innings they literally can pull out two or three 98+ pitchers out bullpen and the whole game u facing the hall of game every game
What does buying your team have to do with anything. I have 99 Mantle. He happens to be this old guys favorite player. This old guy is also "essential". We dont have the free time to grind players like people that are at home from work due to the pandemic or just unemployed. My mommy dosent give me money for stubs. I earn every dollar I spend on stubs in a lot harder fashion than the guys sitting around grinding all day. I dont buy players....I earn them.

I’m talking about all these high pitchers that people are using as relievers
As of today there are 52 diamond SP, and 22 diamond RP/CP not called Kluber/newhouser/oswalt
People are the reason it's happening, not lack of options/ease of getting certain ones. -
Ya know, I forgot where I posted it (it was either here or The Show's Reddit) but before release, I suggested that they not give out high diamond pitchers like Clayton Kershaw (TS19) , Nolan Ryan (TS19), Corey Kluber, and Hal Newhouser in the XP Path for a number of reasons:
1.) It will naturally bring out more variety in terms of pitchers users will face online
2.) If there is no easy-to-access "elite" SPs, you're more likely to increase runs scored per game which will usually result in users having much more fun by increasing the viability of all of The Show player's offensive capabilities.
3.) It encourages experimentation until a user can fill out a rotation the user is comfortable with that isn't dictated just by taking the highest overall pitcher in a funneled XP Path that 80% of the user-base will just take who the "consensus best starting pitcher" is. Lets face it, the smartest option is 99% of the time going to be to take the best pitcher available since you have to fill out five SPs and seven relievers and a 95+ overall pitcher is almost always going to outlast a position player in terms of how much time they spend in on your squad.

With that in mind, I don't think they should put those high diamond pitchers in the XP Path. Yeah, I'm sure it would create it's own set of problems but it ultimately achieves what I think they were trying to do last year: creating a huge amount of diversity in each player's lineups.

Couldn’t have said it any better
