Stubs question

Sitting at about 150K which is the highest I’ve ever been thanks to some lucky pack luck in my conquest 5 pack bundle. I’m pretty content with my team as is and I don’t see myself completing all of the collections as I just don’t have the stubbage to acquire the major diamonds. Should I just stand pat and make a run for trout? Is that too unrealistic? I know it’s a long way to go but there’s just nothing else out on the market that does it for me.

Go for Trout man. You can do it!! Just grind. You’ll get there.
Set that as your goal and achieve it.

Stand pat for now. Never know who will be added as a headliner you may want in the future, etc. Never a bad thing to sit on stubs. Or go for Trout if you really want him but to me I'd wait until prices come back down.

Yeah I Def don’t see myself splurging for anyone on the market right now I’m hoping to make World Series which would be a huge boost in gaining stubs for me

It can happen man. I had about 150k and then got Yelich from my conquest 5 pack. Next thing I knew, I sold him and most of the diamond equipment I had on my cap with plans to rebuy later on. That was more than enough to get me to 290K, and now Trout is patrolling LF for me. All I need to get Mantle is Gerrit Cole, and I did it with no money spent, no flipping, and I only bought packs once (and got burned for about 50K on them).

I’m in a similar situation with roughly 100k. For me, there’s so many easily attainable great cards in the game that it’s not really worth it to blow huge amounts of stubs on one player on the market. Most of my stub bank now goes towards TA exchanges if I don’t feel like playing showdown. Sure I can’t resell those players if I end up not liking/using them but it at least unlocks the next stage once it’s available.

That’s exactly what I’ve been doing as well I might just try to collect stubs for a while and see what happens
