Hey guys I have been playing Showdown almost all the time because I like it but boy is it hard sometimes.

I consider myself a good hitter.Nothing special but I beat CPU easy on All Star and can hang on on Hall of Fame pound for pound.

That being said this mode is challenging.I like it but they need to let us restart red challenges a few times at least. It's not fair to fail once and game over considering you are paying 500-1000 stubs a piece.

Also TA Showdowns need to give us at least 1 voucher if we fail the final boss so it's not like we did it all for nothing.

    Thoughts?

I think it's fine the way it is, you can always re-enter for a small entry fee and try again. We just hate it when we aren't successful the first or even the second time.

I don’t want it to change and I’m a guy who struggled a few times on the first inning showdown. I think you need a ton on the line. You get your stubs back and a pack if yo can beat the first showdown which isn’t hard

I d like to see them change the pitcher for the first red in the 1st inn showdown.
You face dia Oswalt with 1 dia 1 gold 2 sil( cause the 3rd is always all pitchers) 3 bronze and the rest random bronze, the 4 miss in front 1 is a pitcher reward the other 2 perks.
only 2 chances to get upgrade 1 G 1S which can also be difficult.

An hour's work for a quarter of the progress towards an inning boss seems like a good deal to me.

I'd like to see them adjust the sliders on the final boss. I am sooooooo tired of so many perfect perfects and good goods get snagged on line out and drilled right at defenders. I just finished one where i counted four perfect perfect outs (one was a double play) and the pitchers confidence was middle. So aggravating.

I love showdown. You know exactly what to expect. Unbelievable defense, pitchers dotting and the perfect double plays and line outs. Unlike online where you have no idea what’s going to happen

No more line drive double plays to first base.

At least change the way it looks. I want to destroy all that is good and pure in the world every time I see my runner diving back to the bag, getting skull-swiped by the effing first baseman.

Played first base from t-ball to junior college. Never had the pleasure of such an event once. But it's every other game in showdown.

Use your DD team down 15-0, have an all-star, HOF, and legend entry/reward

The concept is great - offline BR mode. I wish it was more like BR where you just need to win games with your drafted team against the CPU rather than a constant steam of Moments. This could include pitcher fatigue so that we need to draft more than one SP.

Good suggestion to let us pay stubs to replay the final Showdown with prior progress rather than repeat the entire process again. SDS needs to recognize that some people do not have unlimited time (or patience) for this game!!
