Not even a biased answer, this is a business. They release Jeter, they're gonna juice him real good because nobody can do anything about it. They could release a Ty Cobb card with 125 power and nobody could do anything about it because SDS can do whatever they want with cards and people would still use them.

Yeah exactly, nobody has any power to stop them from giving any juiced attributes they want to anybody. Andrew McCutchen got a SS card last year and Orel Herchiser didn't. Nothing I can do about that, SDS does whatever they want.

Yeah exactly, nobody has any power to stop them from giving any juiced attributes they want to anybody. Andrew McCutchen got a SS card last year and Orel Herchiser didn't. Nothing I can do about that, SDS does whatever they want.
I know what you are saying, but this was a really bad example. I love Hershiser in this game, but McCutchen had a really good career with the pirates. Hershiser had 2 good seasons

Realistically the attributes would look pretty identical to SS Gwynn but he plays SS and has worse fielding. They would probably give him gold fielding to split it down the middle and try to make Yankees fans and people that want realistic defensive attributes somewhat happy. Probably a little over 80 speed

I was exaggerating a bit. Hershiser had about 5 good years but was extremely average the rest of his career. 5 good years and 12 average years didn’t exactly scream SS card last year, especially since the card almost had to be a 98-99. It just didn’t make sense. I know there were some wrong choices for sig cards last year but Mccutchen getting a SS card made more sense than Hershiser not getting one
