Just the growing pains of using directional dude. I was there before. Eventually you’ll realize you need to make the switch.
I use directional against the CPU on All Star with default sliders and I get realistic contact results for the most part, its perhaps a little over powered and needs some slight tweaks. These HUGE slider changes that SDS has made makes it impossible to hit on directional. Of course I only am playing because of covid. I took a break from the game last year after playing it for 10 years because its the same things year after year that are wrong with the game. I guess they got lucky there was a pandemic and people like me purchased their game.
You posted about this earlier and I asked you for proof that they indeed adjust sliders. You never replied. I'm not surprised by that, because you don't have any. Now I learn you use directional hitting. I think you need to switch to zone and get better at the game instead of complaining about "adjusted sliders and stealth changes".
I like real baseball, you know, simulation results. Not arcade. Not using zone, never have, never will. If its the last time I play this game because they cater to the arcade crowd, so be it.
One could make the argument that you are the arcade crowd because you use directional hitting. I asked you a question though for the second time, now the third time, that you conveniently ignore.

OP has to be trolling, garbage thread. Come on here to vent blame it on SDS and not take responsibility for getting your [censored] handed to you. Seems like a pattern on this forum.
I am not even coming to close to getting my [censored] handed to me. Even with the pitch location issues I have a 3.30 ERA. It is the fact that with guys like Trout, Olson, Soto, 99 Posey that I get ZERO perfects or squared up results.

Wouldn’t using directional be more “arcade” then using zone? Directional just requires user to swing when they believe timing is right and using zone requires user to line up zone to where the pitch actually is?

Do MLB players have a PCI that they wiggle around so they can hit every pitch? No they have to time their swing correctly.

Yes, they only time things, they don't aim their bat, they ONLY make sure the timing is right. Yep, exactly what MLB players do

But they have to use hand eye coordination, similar to zone? NOT saying real baseball is easy at all, just making the statement for the sake of this conversation.

Directional is my hand eye coordination to swing at the right, or wrong time, and the players attributes do the rest. Zone players lay down perfect drag bunts with pitchers just because they got the PCI in the right location, is that realistic? Pitchers can barely bunt when they set up for it, let alone drag bunt.

You do realize you don't use the pci on bunting right? That's not how bunting works. Bunting is basically directional whether your using zone or directional.

When you bunt on zone the PCI disappears.

It is kind of funny to think of the devs secretly adjusting sliders all the time, just to mess with you.
Picture them sitting on virtual meetings discussing topics like "we don't have enough complaining on the forums, let's do it again!".
