I don’t think so, it seems to auto drop the ball now on any double play or put out when your out of position. I tried Matthews at first base because the rating was still solid but it was a huge mistake he dropped 3 straight and the bases were loaded in the first lmao.

I think he would be serviceable, but expect the occasional booted routine grounder. I know people have used him there before without too many issues

HEs been good for me at 2nd. He drops easy grounders at SS even if he does that at 2nd its still a much shorter throw so he will still usually get the out
