    1. From what I can tell it is entirely on record. How many games above expected. So bunt away.

    2. Yes in main screen options set umpire to perfect.

    3. Yes, 3 hits will usually get the max 3 (+) 1 hit will be 1 (+) no hits nothing. I dont notice any real boost any more than your team being on fire makes every good.

    4. Move the R into the circle and hit R2

Asking here because it looks like the MTO forum is 'dead'.

    1. Are Affinity Points awarded based only on how you do, record wise, in the season or do stats help? I just want to know if I can speed up some games by 'bunting out' once I get a comfortable lead

    2. Is there a setting I can adjust to get better calls from the umpires? Ive have a few of the CPU ABs get extended because the ump called a clear strike a ball.

    3. In Player Lock games, where you can boost a player: how well do you have to do? Do you get a bigger boost if you go 3-3 compared to 1-3; even if the 1 hit was a game winning shot? And does this 'boost' take affect in CPU summed games AND human played games?

    4. In Player Lock Fielding Miss one, how do you throw the ball when that 'circle with the R in it' comes up?

    1. It's just based in record but you can get hot streak bonuses for winning in blowouts. Also, if you're winning by a lot often enough to be considering bunting to make it end quicker I would suggest raising the difficulty.

2 and 4 I have nothing to add to the poster above

    1. You do get a bigger boost the better you do but there is a limit. I had a 4 HR game in a player spotlight with rougned odor (on HOF no less), which I was quite pleased with considering I don't think I've ever done that in any MLB the Show game I've ever played above rookie difficulty. Unfortunately, some of that was wasted because the post game message said something like "great game, multi HRs" so I don't think you can do any better than that. One thing I might add though is that you can get rewarded for just having good ABs in those games even if you don't get a few hits. I think I went 0-4 with a BB one game but I worked the count and I still received a small fire for the game

    @nflman2033 @jonnydaman

    Thanks.

As for lowering the difficulty; I'm playing on AS and for some unknown reason; when I play the CPU on Veteran; I can't hit a broad side of a barn.

I'm doing the Angels now. Not sure of the missions are the same for dufferent rubs; but I've completed all of them. Even came back down 2 on a walk off 3 run shot.

I just got my first trade offer. Nothing to write home about. Refused all 3. And just saved it for the night getting ready to confines a shut out with Ohtani.

    Record is 22-5

You can lose points for front office stuff. I was doing a twins run and I lost points in the second half, got a B- for front office even though I won the division by 30 games. Probably because I refused to trade for or call up a starter as I didnt want a player locked game as a pitcher.

Glad to know I not the only one who hits on AS better than V.

Actually it's not that its better, but more consistent.

On V the CPU pounds the strike zone and it's hard to work the count. However the catch is that my ABs take longer on AS so games take longer and MTO is ready too long compared to doing Showdown.

Yeah, I just went back to an MTO I started at the beginning of the month I was playing on Veteran. I had to drop it to rookie because I couldn't hit. Rather get some points than no point

Around 20. Fewer in the second half. I put a couple breakdowns of a few of my runs in the link below.

Where you list your record, Pirates 14-6) does that mean you won 14 challenges and lost 6?

I havent been keeping track of how many I've done. Maybe I should start to do that.

Yes. I do that for all of my runs. It seems that if you can win 70% of your encounters, you should get the max. I think the biggest key is that you have to win the games where you have the lead.
