Monitor question

Looking to finally grab a 1 ms monitor, and was curious about curved vs flat. Most of what I find online just has to do with curved offering an “immersive experience” - which seems great for action games. But does it throw things off a bit for sports/fighting games? I’ve never owned a curved screen, so don’t really have a reference point...I just feel like for a game that requires precision, the curve can be an issue...?
Also - guys like me who have always used a TV...did you find the transition to a smaller monitor screen to be a problem?
Anyway - thanks for any input you can give.

I use a curved monitor for The Show and love it. You’ll never go back to the TV, I promise you. Sceptre has some great affordable options. I use the 27” curved display
