Ah yes, different content. Hopefully we get a Cap'n Crunch 91 rated catcher card. He would be hard to pitch to as well, with his height and all. As long as it's completely made up new cards, that's all that matters.
This is the kind of out of the box thinking this game stimulates, bravo!
He should probably have a quirk that keeps him fairly hard during rainy games as well.

Personally, I love these much more than the old timey cards because I'm a huge prospect nerd. Who cares??
It is a fantasy card mode and these are fantasy cards... go play franchise if you want a more realistic experience

Yup. Though I fully expect a 99 Maddux with maxed out control. Hopefully he will be very useable

Yea man, free cards that are usable suck! Why don't they just give us 85 overalls that we will never use! Lineup diversity? Screw that! I wanna face Kluber, Gallo, Soto, and Torres every game!
I don't see an issue, as current day cards will get upgrades throughout the year, and these prospects will not get another card. Who cares if some prospect has a better card than someone, it's a FANTASY game mode! All the moaning and crying will do absolutely nothing.
