Events Opponents are wild
-
I have received a message asking me to quit or walk them 10 times for a daily mission in each of my last 3 games. This is getting wild.
-
Turn off messages from non-friends. This is a must in online play for the show imo
-
I had someone message me saying They'd give me a $10 PSN if I quit.
I just replied back Lol, he then pitched to two batters and then he quit. It was quite hilarious.
Like if that dude was really giving away $10 per win, that's $700 total he'd have to give away.

It's a shame dumbasses send messages like that, as it makes a lot of folk turn off their messages.
I actually sometimes like having a chat with my opponent, usually after the game or after a big play. I'm always friendly, and they respond in kind; or don't respond at all and that's cool too. Got some good tips once from a dude who was owning me. -

I've never noticed issues with this on ranked. Only this event.

I leave it on. Most of the time it’s friendly messages. Last year I did get blasted for “not throwing **** strikes” and being a female dog”. Dude didn’t take a pitch the whole game....

A guy messaged me and said first to score wins. I said sure. He was up first so had the advantage. He hid a double and then a bomb. I quit. Not sure if he would have done the same. But I’m not winning any nine game runs. So...not complaining or judging. Just sharing.

Had a guy beating me 4-0. Came back up on him 6-4 with 5 HRs (Thanks All-Star) he then waited 3:15 until 1 second left, asked for a friendly quit. Should’ve taken it, homie hit a 3 run blast in the bottom of the 6th....

That's honestly not a bad idea. I'm Already sick of these two inning games. The bad thing is, like you said, who knows if the other guy would keep his word.
