Connection issues in events?

Anyone else experiencing connection issues? Does not appear to be me as all services are running and the kids would be bitching at me if they were losing connection lol

I’m pressing buttons and nothing is happening. It’s like a terrible lag. However, this is pretty common for me in this game. Seems a little worse than normal at the moment.
