Fix the Showdown Drafts

Seriously guys how many times do I have to choose between 4 pitches in a gold or diamond round.
Stop giving me pitchers after the first mini boss I have all I need already
I need hitters
BR does this well why can't Showdown?

It is almost like the drafts are predetermined to give you a challenge.

I really agree with this. I had a final diamond round before Verlander in the AL West and was given a choice of 4 pitchers with Ohtani being one which would have been great had I not already had bench bats (lefties to boot) with better batting ratings than Ohtani.

This is an invalid complaint. You’re essentially asking to be given what you want. That’s not how it works.

There are also pitching missions though, you do need at least 1 decent SP and imo 1 or 2 good bullpen arms in every showdown run. And also the fact that you mention Brad Hand makes it clear you're doing the AL Central and they have a BUNCH of silver goons who get the job done. Sano, Moncada, Soler, Encarnacion, Eloy Jimenez and I'm sure I left out a ton.

I was actually doing the 2nd inning Showdown again for fun and had some holes in my lineup

I agree if it's an open round. If it says "gold pitcher" exc. I expect a pitcher but if it says "diamond player" or "gold player" I'd hope for at least two hitters to choose from but sometimes you're stuck with 4 pitchers. This seems more like something that didn't get worked out in the beta rather than an actual intended feature.
