    It really bums me out that Live Series Cards are so useless in this game with respect to a few pitchers and hitters. It feels like many of the players don't get the overalls of what they deserve compared to Old school players and prospects. You're telling me that a guy that has never touched the MLB is already better then 95% of the league? I understand the concept they are getting behind their potential, but It just doesn't make sense, and then guys like Lindor, or Mookie, or Rendon are just kicked to the way side. Idk maybe I'm wrong, but it would be nice to see Current players get more love. Love to hear other peoples thoughts.

    Dont know what you expect. Trout's good, but he's no Madrigal. SDS cant work miracles.

    I wouldn't say its as much about them not being good enough so much as it is that their prices are too high to be worth it.
    Scherzer 92 rated SP = 95k stubs. Gerrit Cole 91 rated SP 128k stubs. Bob Feller 93 SP 32k stubs. Oswalt 40k stubs. Vida 35k. Because of the LS collection, LS prices get driven way up and so I'll never buy Scherzer or Cole for 95k+ stubs instead of a similar rated flashback/legend for 35k unless I'm doing it for the collection. So for those of us that aren't trying to get the players to do the collection they're just not worth it compared to other options. I'll never buy Bellinger for 130k stubs when Joe Carter is 30k. I could list more but you get the point. If there was no LS collection, I think LS prices would be quite affordable and highly used.

    @STEVO651779652 i agree with you 100%

    I just can’t believe SDS made such high FOTF available at launch as better options then most LS diamonds. You would think that would be a lot of money lost (less stub purchases), from day 1 I’ve grinded showdown and the only LS card I chased and invested (in game stub earnings) in was Trout

    Also, I seen on twitch a lot of people wishing showdown didn’t exist and I’m thinking why??? but my guess was they couldn’t roll thru it like many can 75%+ of the time and can only imagine that would turn them away from the game right away.
