Face of Franchise Evolution (idea)

What if the next wave was actually just the same card moving up points like the evolution sets? The cards go up 3-6 points each “wave” and end up becoming prestige at the end.
Have they ever said that they for sure will be “different” players? I can’t remember what they said in the original stream. It also seems like they are really pushing the evolution idea this year.
I may be crazy, but just a thought. I’m also not saying that this is what I want to happen. Personally I’d love some new players.

I’m hoping the actual Evolution program has a stage 3 that gives you their top card.

That could be cool but I’d rather different players from my team tbh. Let’s face it — most of the current “faces of the franchise” are not even close to being the true “face of the franchise.” Maybe by the fall TA update, we’ll be able to get Trout, Arenado, Bellinger, Ketel, Yelich etc FotF cards. Maybe that’s even how they are planning to do something like a Finest series if there’s no baseball this year?

Are we 100% sure that they’re even going to continue doing FotF in each phase of TA? I have to wonder who else would get one for rebuilding teams like Baltimore and Miami. We’ve already got Brian Anderson so ... who else gets one in the next 3 rounds? Maybe they’ll do Legends in round 2 — something along the lines of the 30 preorder legends from 19. I’d be happy with that.

I don’t think they’ll keep doing more FotF cards.
Stage 2 will probably just be more prospect cards, and the next two stages will be other types of flashbacks.

: ) Haha. I think if there are more prospects, they will be mid level gold tiers that build to either a legend of flashback. It wont be diamonds. If you look at the 2020 MLB top 100 prospects that are left, most already have a card.....with some small exceptions...

Just based off which prospects have already gotten diamonds, and which ones have gotten golds, there definitely isn’t enough left for every team to have another diamond prospect card.
Maybe it’ll be future stars cards instead. Who knows.

What they should do like the prospect cards in stage one, they should have a card before the main one. Maybe they are making prestige fotf?

So they just announced 30+ future stars cards coming by this Friday. This is getting ridiculous. Baseball is a game of history dating back to the 1880s. Why keep shoving fake prospect cards at us when there are thousands of historical players they could add from baseballs history?

Quite lame imo.
I’m sure 30 will be Stage 2 of Team Affinity, Lux and someone else will be headliners, and who knows what else.
It says they’ll be showing one today, but they said they won’t show the first Stage 2 TA card until the Tuesday the 21st.

Same. I guess it's nice to have a couple as something a little different, but over saturating the game with these is just moronic.
Especially when a lot of teams are going to have stupidly boosted cards, since every team has to have one.
