I swear I cannot stand trying to play an online game and the minute you hammer a home run opponent quits before ball has even landed. Great I get the win but its such a waste of time. It's like, cmon you are that bad you can't get a run after less than one inning.

I think it's a sign of frustration and that's likely how the day has been going. That's why I wish they'd have a long season in dd where you could use your dd squad offline.
3 inning mode I don't love and I gotta be in the right mood to put up with ranked

@ref479ode_PSN A lot of people will say that's why they have mini seasons. But not everyone like mini seasons. Plus mini seasons is only 3 innings games. They should make it where you can pick 3,7,9 inning games. What would be better is a offline Rank seasons and a offline BR modes. And let the try hards and top players go at it online rank at each other.

I had a rather toxic player in my 5th WC game this weekend. he tied the game in the top of the 9th. with 1 out and nobody on Cal yanked a pitch over the RF wall to give me the walk off. toxic opponent dashboarded. It filled my heart with a bit of joy to know they were that angry.

@elway7751_PSN as a person that used to do this before lol, I started getting a lot better, now I can't stand it!! There should be a minimum innings req count before your opponent can quit IMO

It's very frustrating. I'm not the best at this game but at the same time, I've seen it where the first inning I'm down 4-5 runs by innings 4-7 if I stay patient and wear the pitcher down I've made comebacks or took the game into extras. Have won some of them, yeah. Have I lost some of them, of course but that is the beauty of baseball. You still have innings 2-9 to play and anything can happen and that too is the beauty of baseball. I'm kinda new but the one thing I have learned that this game rewards is patience and discipline at the plate, no matter if you are hitting with zone or directional. Without patience you don't have timing and without timing the PCI placement doesn't matter.

Yeah I should've clarified, I would like a offline 9 inning 162 game mode or something like that where I could play on hof or legend. I typically play conquest and ms on all star to nearly guarantee a win
I would just prefer to use my dd team opposed to a franchise setup. Maybe the opponents are real life teams with updated rosters. Not sure how the rewards system would work to make it worthwhile
Idk if it's just this year but the toxic stuff online I just haven't wanted to fool with much this year. Part 5 years or so I've been primarily a online player I would say. This year I've played like 30 ranked but very little events and basically zero br

This the most annoying thing in this game. I have played 14 games all year that have gone a complete 9 innings. I played 6 games over the last 5 days and not one of them has made it to the 3rd inning. There needs to be stricter penalties put in place for people who constantly do this.
