Surprise SDS dropped a Justin Verlander program today
-
the card art is pretty absurd
-
Its so much easier than the Kershaw one, huge w
-
Easy is not a W for me, but letting me pick how I want to tackle it certainly is. I don't necessarily hate moments, but I'll skip them if given the choice almost every time
I just really want some proper packs. I love how everything else is centered around 3500 until you got the stubs, which are 300. Not even 350. Cheap [censored].

Def was a good idea to do the program today since double pxp was still on

I don't get the disdain for Moments.
True, I sighed when I saw they were all pitching ones, but I always cave and gladly do them because they make me even better at pitching.
Sure, the 'strike out all 3 batters in an inning ones' can be a challenge when you get 2 strikes and then bozo puts a perfectly dotted pitch in play, lol.
Accept the challenge. Accept that the Moments here get you to 60 points, unless you have a better alternative for them. Be grateful for surprise programs like this.
EDIT: 40 points for the Moments. -

I don't like showdown, but I did this one anyway (and failed vs 95 Verlander, but scored 11 vs 99 Verlander....)
This was a well done program over all. I will complain endlessly (and very rightfully so) about how lazy stuff like outfield assist with only 2 cards when it should be 10+, but this program, Ryno, and Kershaw were all good.
The game lacks mid tier cards in programs for those of us that prefer to use them, and it desperately needs a meaningful offline grind to fill the TA void. They have done a good job with the top ends of the programs in general I feel.
