Diamond quest needs a rework so badly

I’ve probably been disconnected in a stadium game about 10 times this year. Every single time it results in a loss and a waste of over an hour of my life. There is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON for the stadium games to be one and done. There are way too many things that can happen that are out of your control to have a game that forces you to win. Absolutely abysmal mode from a players standpoint, I have no idea why this is still in the game if you aren’t going to fix it.

@Vibrant_HEHO_PSN You probably don’t want to hear this, but disconnections are caused by your internet. I do think replaying the stadium would be a good idea. Maybe after one fail they take away the option of goat and drop the odds.

Stadium games being all or nothing is flat out bad game design. It's an hour+ of work that gets completely erased by bad rng (or a disconnect). It's the same reason why so many people despise showdown.

@Teak2112_MLBTS Another issue is how slow the game board moves. I don’t play a whole lot of DQ, but it reminds me of how slow conquest used to be. It desperately needs to be sped up.

@Teak2112_MLBTS you’ve already been told this. Stadiums being all or nothing is the entire premise of the mode. If you can’t win on a higher difficulty level, play on a lower one.

I pretty much stopped playing DQ one time where I won a game vs zone sweeper than promptly lost a stadium game on rookie with 8 of 9 outs on well hit balls and the CPU just hitting a random dinger on the standard fastballs we all throw on pitch 1 and 2. Sure, maybe that ninth ball if well timed would have led to a different outcome, but what I did would of won on rookie 99 times out of 100, or more.
There is already a much better solution in this thread: if you play on a difficulty level and lose, that option should no longer be available and you should take an odds hit. If you lose on rookie you should get a 0% chance of the rewards for that particular stadium. Losing all your other stuff is completely unacceptable and again, is indefensible game design that should never have been put forth as an idea. It is a disincentive to try to play above your level, and only increases player frustration. Taking away things a player has earned, especially when it can happen regardless of a player's inputs, should have died in the 1990s when some asshat trained me in Blackburrow (It was probably Dolenz pulling a bunch of [censored] and then using feign death right by me)

The dice rolls really add nothing as well. Rolling a 6 gives absolute junk for a bonus, the only exciting thing about getting a 6 is its that much longer until the next roll.
It looks like something from 30 year ago (intentionally), but also plays like something from 30 years ago

@Teak2112_MLBTS Just remove the useless dice roll and speed up the animation for moving spaces.

Just play on GOAT. You can get to the summer ones within 10 - 15 minutes and play with over 80% vs the Reds. Face #5 starter. Its pretty easy
