Not that I'm aware of - I play both modes and Stubs/Coins are separate.

I'm guessing he meant tokens vice coins. Tokens are used to upgrade player attributes. So, I think he is expressing a desire to sell accumulated stubs for tokens. I don't think SDS would agree to do this, nor frankly would I want them to. You see, points are only awarded for quality of on-the-field play by your RTTS avatar player, as are directly earned tokens.
I like this current RTTS player development method because it is strictly related to quality of the game play by your player. You cannot buy your way to excellence, you have to earn it.
