Enough with the Mandatory Mini Seasons

I would agree with you that mini seasons are boring and repetitive, however, not everyone has the same opinions. Having distinct modes and incentives to play them is important to the game. -
@Talkingben9558_XBL the point of the post was.. play your way. Mini seasons being part of collections almost mandatory is not playing your way.

I would understand your frustration if playing the mini season was the only way to complete the collection, but all you have to do is buy a couple extra cards. They created a workaround for the mini season, but you still have to work to get the cards. -

I you are impatient and want to get the collection rewards asap, you will probably have to spend more stubs and more time, and I think that is fair -

@SpawnOfDitka_XBL I’m [censored] near 40. I like online and I’m a decent player, but sometimes a casual game after work is a great way to relax rather than a sweaty online game. Mini seasons are great for xp. I’ve been saving them for new innings. Again, they are not mandatory for any collection no matter how many times you guys try to claim it.

I’m 49 years old, I’ve been playing less and less Ranked every year since 22, this year I’m 7-0. I don’t need to get better or compete because I don’t feel the need to prove anything playing a video game.
Mini Seasons is great as you can go casual and grind progress for programs, or play on higher difficulty for some competition.
Play however you want, but assume everyone is an unskilled 12 year old for enjoying a mode in the game, is ridiculous.

Just a random thank you to SDS for removing all the stat cast junk and making the mini season games flow better this year
This, along with the moment reset while ball is in play, are just great changes and i hope we get more of this in 2026

@BJDUBBYAH_PSN the whole point of grinding cards is to better your team to play in ranked and compete. What because you are 49 your lost your competitive edge? The point of any sports game is to compete. Go play Zelda if you want casual or any other non sports game. I just do not see the point of playing offline all the time. Im grinding cause I want to beat other human beings lol. Not the cpu and stare at cool cards with art on them.

@SpawnOfDitka_XBL Grinding offline is faster for progress, pxp and most things, so I can be more competitive online. There’s a place for both. You can choose not to play it.

@GoozeFn_PSN agreed. Not saying otherwise. Im referring to the only offline players that are bashing online players cause we do not like mini seasons. I have had to suck it up and play way more offline this year than I have liked.

@SpawnOfDitka_XBL you’re the dummy insulting the players who enjoy MS and dictating the “right way to play”. Do what you want and let others be. The point of the game is to enjoy it; for you it might be winning online, for others it’s relaxing with a cold one in a pressure-free game.
Pretty sure your co-workers or your wife/gf couldn’t care less about your online achievements.

@SpawnOfDitka_XBL The problem is everyone’s solution always seems to be get rid of this or less of this instead of a real solution. How we make these cards sellable, or make them earnable in multiple places, or stop putting cards in mini seasons? I’m just tired of people suggesting we get rid of things a lot of people like and want more of. I’m all for playing as you want, but more is always better.

If the OP had just said 'I wish all MS cards were sellable because I don't enjoy the mode and would rather sell the cards from the modes I enjoy so I can buy the MS cards' they would have gotten a more favorable reaction.

@Teak2112_MLBTS yeah well I think all you mini seasons players are weak lol. Im not backing down. Its lame. Never will I spend 6 hours playing against a cpu in any game ever.
