Street Fighter 6 Ranked online.

I have no problem if they want to effectively lock people in low The Show population areas from minimal wait time online play, but they need to make an offline version of the ranked track.
I no longer live in a low population area of Australia so it wouldnt impact me anymore, but it 100% would have in the past.

I think homeruns effect connectivity , because every time i hit a homerun connection is lost .

Don't hit any homeruns.

@Weshill627_PSN There it is! That's the perfect contrast between SF6 and The Show. I'm on board.

Yea, connections are even worse than years before. I literally have to home hunt for several games the connections on the pitching screen are so bad. Then even the home games feel like [censored] most of the time. I won most of my games in weekend classic that I actually played but only a few had good connections and were fun.
As I've said before I don't care about wins and losses, the game just isn't fun against bad connections which happen all the time. I have ZERO interest playing HOF and above the way this game is playing. I get blown away by outliers and sinkers in all star most games. Should say something when someone that has been WS multiple times every year since 2017 can't catch up to all star fastballs. I would literally have no chance on HOF with connections being good about 20% or less of the time. Again, who at SDS thinks it is OK to put someone in the middle of the country against east and west coast opponents all the time. Doesn't work on P2P with the hamster fed servers.

@Teak2112_MLBTS Capcom clearly doesn't have a problem with it, why should SDS? If youre in a position where you cant get high speed internet your lowest priority should be online competitive gaming. Sometimes two players with good connection just dont have a good game bc of distance. I just want more control over my match ups vs Zero.

I have no problem with this, but SDS has to allow the players that live in remote areas to have equal access to earn any online cards. Not buy with stubs, but earn.
I don't understand why anyone would have a problem with that. If you want to lock people out of content its only fair there is an alternative way to get the rewards. Anything else is bad game design.

@Teak2112_MLBTS I would have zero problems with this but you would have to make the say offline multiplayer program at least 3x (this would have to be researched) longer and locked on HOF as that is about the equivalent to online multiplayer. Games against CPU on rookie, veteran and maybe all star should not count towards the multiplayer program. I think this and the connection proposals would be a win/win for everyone.
If I have a 5 rated connection (for instance), I shouldn't have to or even be matched against someone in NY with a 3 rating connection connecting to the NY server. I truly think this stuff is happening a lot and it isn't good. I saw OhChev recently play someone in Australia. This simply shouldn't be happening in 2025. I would also like to know how my connection is performing. If I am a 5 for 3 days, then dip to 2 that is something I want to know.
If you truly want to see who the best players are (and no I am not saying I am one of them), a good accurate connection system should be implemented. Tournaments should be ran through this also.

When did these go out? I am away from the console, but don’t have any new packs in the app. Is this only accessible through the console? Thanks

@LHUBison58_XBL what? Lol

I am on an OhChev video from 2 years ago playing from Australia. The worst part about that one? I was already 0-1 on that BR run (with a sub 500 ranked record at the time, or maybe low 500s). He was 10-0.
I hate the online matchmaking in this game for anything other than ranked which is why I am glad they removed those tracks.
But the 'in 2025' thing is really not relevant. Baseball is a global game, and there are people playing this game from all over the world. The current system accommodates that by allowing people to find games whenever they want (generally).
Your proposal seems fine to me, but I wonder if MLB would go for it because they probably want people playing from all over the globe to have equal access to online play.

@Weshill627_PSN I have no idea how my post in Scouting Report ended up here. Zero clue. So that’s what happened.
