What is the point of this attribute in diamond dynasty? Have any of you had any players ever get hurt?
I have not, in the years I have been playing this game, other than back in the day when a pitcher would get hit with the ball.

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. It's for Franchise/RTTS. Only reason it's in DD is so they can jack it up to lower other attributes (power, contact, etc) and still maintain a high OVR.
