Sds what were you thinking removing event rewards??

Like seriously! What were you guys thinking? People now just play events to spam stats. Everyone goes on there and pitches the ball right down the middle and the games are 35 to 34. Is that what you want your game to become?
The multi player program is cool and a plus. Good thing! But everyone is spamming events to reach the multi player goals. Not a good thing for the game.
Ranked seasons cannot and should not be our only viable method of online play that means anything. People were complaining about rewards not being good in events. So instead of maybe making better rewards you completely removed it this year! Rewards were not even that bad to begin with. Ill take anything at this point. Sds response to people complaining about event rewards by completely removing it...is about as strange of a thought process as it gets. Im pretty positive im speaking for the majority of the online player community on this topic.

@SpawnOfDitka_XBL You're 100% right. Its so silly that is what it has become. I want more to do but ranked is it.
Hopefully they add more to it in coming months.

@Weshill627_PSN they have had event rewards for years. And playing in event 3 inning games competitively was awesome! For them to remove a huge part of the game for online players is absolutely silly.

Don't forget the BR Program. I haven't touched BR more than 3-4 times this year. Not worth me spending 1500 stubs when I know I can never go 10-0.

@x-814-x-MAFIA-x_PSN agreed! I was thinking about adding the br program into my initial post as well. But figured let's just start with events. If the sweats want br they can have it. 99 percent of us arnt going flawless.

Yeah it's kind of a tough one. I do like the multiplayer program, and it's cool to have options on how you want to complete it, but I don't touch BR at all anymore and only play Events to grind certain stats sometimes. Even if they added some pack rewards or something I think that would be better than nothing.

Its nice to have a 3 inning mode not filled with sweats, its about the only bone they've thrown casuals this year
But I wouldnt be too bothered if it went ack to the old way, I would go back to pretending it didnt exist -
Bad thing with Events is unless you're the Away team; 9/10 you don't get a chance to bat.
People either ask to boost and quit if you don't want to boost. Or quit after they bat.

Turning off communication probably helps with that, but I know I personally quit ranked about 500% more since they removed innings as the key component of online path.
Events I'm less likely to quit because if I get shut out its not taking up too much of my time to make no progress
100 run mission is absolute terrible design. I contemplated quitting a game I was up 1-0 with a no hitter through 4 just because I thought I was out matched vs their pitcher. I won 2-1 in the 11th but felt my time was wasted

Ranked is super casual below 600
Ive found events to be casual as well this year, whereas last year it was like 90% WS players, and the high end ones that hit every single pitch thrown in the zone and take every pitch a hair outside the zone

@Teak2112_MLBTS I wish I had that experience. But I run into almost only WS players on the first game of an entry. And ranked above 500 is where it becomes sweaty. plus I'm in the prime zone of WC where ppl tank rating or play on alts for the good rewards.
