Harper, Seager are great but irrelevant until Exit Velocity is fixed
-
I really hope they do not make any adjustments to turn this game in to a homerun derby because a few people can't handle not hitting homeruns every time they press the swing button. I play this game for it to feel like baseball, not like some arcade home run contest.
-
Some of us don’t agree with you. So don’t throw us into the same boat.
-
@TaoTeChing77_XBL, I think you’re overestimating the 99% number as much as you’re exaggerating the “problem.”
-
Don't be too hard on him guys, lots of men approaching their middle years experience issues like this, nothing to be ashamed of.
more fruits and vegetables, less breaded and deep fried foods and your body will rebalance itself and you'll seldom encounter these issues, though "exit velocity issues" is a new term to me,we always called it different. -
The point of this post was to just let people know that nomatter how good the card is, It’s not immune to the exit velocity problem. That’s it.
But all the SDS fanboys feel the need to defend the game 24/7 against any & all complaints.
-
you’re certainly allowed to post whatever you want, but claiming that there’s some sort of random “exit velocity problem” without any evidence or explanation isn’t going to go very well. The game rewards solid contact with the appropriate exit velocity literally every time.
Side note, I love the “SDS fanboy” insult. This is a forum for a video game that we all like enough to purchase and play for way more hours than most of us would be proud of. So yeah, there’s going to be a lot of fans on this page. It’d be like going to a Taylor Swift fan page and wondering why everyone there liked Taylor Swift songs. -
@tear4eddy_PSN There are like 10 posts a day on here about the exit velocity issue lol. Did not think I needed to explain what it was AGAIN.
BTW…I remember you from Lake Jocassee a couple years back. You were with Samson & Cranford’s group. Good to see you are well.
-
@TaoTeChing77_XBL 100% ON THE DOT!!! Your post is fire
& truth! These dudes are employees posing as players, There’s no way they haven’t noticed the exit velocity problem lol.
-
There is nothing wrong with exit velocity so you can't fix something that isn't broken
-
@sbchamps17_NSW Cool!
-
@tear4eddy_PSN it’s most definitely happening all of the time wow the gaslighting from you boot lickers here never ends
-
Again there is nothing wrong with exit velocity, it's a you thing
-
@Pergo_MLBTS I agree I think there plenty homers already more then there should be idk I don’t see the issue he’s complaining about but who knows
-
Also if u want homers go play events mode plenty of bad pitchers to kill some homers
-
Once again I say, hitting is not the problem. It's the CPU pitching that is a issue. At least in my opinion.
-
@sbchamps17_NSW So cool!
-
As infuriating as this game is with all the issues I have, exit velocities are fine. Better than last year at Shield Woods where people were getting sub 90mph exit velo home runs.
-
@tear4eddy_PSN My Perfect/Perfect 107 EV 27 Degree LA with Moonshot Grandal that Died at the wall in Dead Center would disagree.
-
I don't think it's EV itself but rather the randomness of this game. You can square up a perfect perfect and get an 82 EV or get get 107 EV and I guess that's appropriate. Where people get frustrated is how many of those Good/Good and Perfect/Perfect have low EV. Someone mentioned the pitching and absolutely the CPU pitching is bizarre this year. There is no doubt in my mind that it's done by design to prevent grinding to quickly while blowing through maps, mini seasons, and diamond quest because the difference between veteran in those modes as opposed to veteran in a regular vs CPU game is night and day. You'll see a lot of 1-0 or similarly low scoring games in those modes but go play vs CPU 9 inning game and you'll put up 20+ hits and 10+ runs. I hit 3 HR in one game with Seager not long ago grinding the program. So in my opinion, everyone is right here. EV isn't broken it's just a matter of what mode you play and how much you'll be rewarded or not for patience and good timing.
-
Not only CPU pitching, but I think the over-performing CPU fielding is making EV seem worse than it actually is. I'm constantly getting perfect/perfect line drives up the middle snagged by the CPU SS as if he's playing with a 125 reaction speed rating. Same goes for line drives over 1B (feels like he's already jumping as soon as contact is made) or ground [censored] between 1B and 2B being robbed by a diving 2B.
