Hitting Is STILL Terrible
-
People complain about SDS not giving us free high cards, but my complaint has always been the hitting this year, it has been absolutely abysmal for vs cpu modes.
Too many foul offs on balls straight down the zone on good swing timing.
I barely ever had many extra inning or 9th inning saves in previous years and this year, it’s constant.
If it’s not the hitting, it’s something even sketchier. I notice I’ll have a blowout and in the next few games it will be close games to the point if saves it extra innings. It’s even more frustrating if I’m getting the same contact in those games as I did in the blowouts, which shows to me SDS may be capping stats, and if that’s the case, they are going to lose a lot of customers.

Hitting is awful. Especially on legend where you can square the ball up perfectly and it’s 80 mph off the bat. A lot doesn’t add up in this game.

I can look past the other issues but the hitting is 90% of my frustration with this game. I feel like whoever made it last year took another job somewhere and they gave hitting to some board member’s kid.

Still? As in all the same exact things that people complained about yesterday are still terrible, and we all need reminding?
And that's so unlike baseball; I'd never seen a team blow out another team and then follow that with a couple of close games. But I think whatever is happening is spreading... just Thursday, the A's won 14-3. Friday? They won 5-4.
Manfred is probably capping their stats.

At least Clases hair can move this year

@The_Joneser_PSN I mean that’s generally how official message boards for a game work bud. The customers complain until the vendor fixes the issues.

@TaoTeChing77_XBL, thanks, bud. But not everyone thinks this is an “issue” to “fix.”
The stating of contrary opinions is also pretty common in forums like this.

I find it comical they haven't made any substantial game play tweaks yet this year. Oh except to nerf bunting lol
