Are offline guys failing to see that online guys are forced to play offline?
I would love to never play any vs CPU games but I have to for cards. I don't want to play it, but I'm forced to achieve certain rewards. It goes both ways.
Of course they are. Besides, the amount of offline content is waaaaaaaay more than online content. They just want everything. He’ll, there’s even one guy on here begging to be able to skip challenges. This is how far we have fallen as a species.
Same guy...
Oh, I know that...just hoping he reads it, lacks self awareness and he’d be like “what buffoon would ask for free rewards?” Then he makes eye contact with himself in the mirror and realizes it was him all along before he starts crying tears of self-actualization and questions the foundation of his existence.
Heck forbid someone offers a suggestion or opinion that differs from your own. The only self-anything needed is this generation and people like yourself realizing your existence is one with people who have opinions or ideas that may differ from your own. Grow up.
The suggestion you offered is literally "Let me have it without performing the necessary task." Good grief...I just can't with you people. It's supposed to be challenging. Do you really want everything to be so easy that you just cruise through? If you do...you should check out fun sometime, because what you're having ain't it.
Baby.

In DD? No way. I've got this collection of cards and the list of things I can do with it is awful.
There is a ton more offline gameplay. First, you can collect the cards, there's conquest, play vs. cpu, etc. There are Moments, there's Team Affinity, there's Showdown. All of this can be done offline. On top of that, there is RTTS, Franchise, MtO,...
Online, you have RS, Events, and BR. If you don't want to play those, you've got plenty of other options. So...you're wrong.

The reason they can't create stat based offline and online missions the same is because these moments are suppose to be challenging. They are called rewards for a reason. if all the stat based missions had to the option to be done offline, then these rewards would be to easy to collect.
That's true. That's why I thought they could make an online mission, and double the stats for offline players (or some factor higher than the online stat amount). Its obviously easier to do it Vs. the CPU than another online player. I dont see how that would be unfair to anyone. Each group should be satisfied with that compromise.
-
blah blah blah. Why can SDS just give us Trout, Kershaw, Griffey just by going logging in? why why SDS must you make us actually play the game to earn some of the best cards. SDS can give everyone of us a free Trout and most of you will [censored] that he isn't the 99 version. Yes, some challenges suck. that is why you have the option of doing parts of the program online. A lot of people only play online and you dont see them here bitching that they have to do offline missions to complete the programs.

The compromise is already built in. If you want to reap ALL the rewards, you do ALL the missions. Whether you play online or not, you can get the intended reward. Anything above (in this case) the Jackie diamond is bonus. There doesn't need to be a compromise. If you want to collect extras, then you play extra and outside of your preferred mode.

I'm not referring to Jackies program, as I mentioned earlier, that I thought they did a great job with it. I also dont have any issues with prestige diamonds online missions. I'm strictly talking about player programs in general.
Most offline players dont want to have to play online, and most online players dont want to have to grind against the CPU. So, instead of making Conquest missions or online missions, they could have stat missions for online players, and stat missions for offline players that are 2/3x as much. I dont see how this could be a negative for the community.

I was using Jackie's program as an example, but it works for any. If you want to complete the entirety of any program, you're going to have to do more than normal. What is so complicated here?

That's fine. I will do either of them if I want a particular card so it doesnt necessarily affect me.
I'm not complaining, but merely hoping to make it so the community is a little better. As it stands, there will continue to be threads about online/offline missions for every player program they release, so I guess that's cool.

I don't know how, but I finished all the offline missions by some major miracle. The two doubles and a stolen base was the hardest one for me, oddly.
But I want to point out a few things, if anyone at SDS is paying attention.
-
It would be nice for players who haven't beat these challenges if you let Robinson actually get a full leadoff, or extend his leadoff in these moments before the pitcher starts his windup. Especially when you are accelerating the counts to 1-1 2-2, etc. Not cool. Nothing like needing a stolen base to beat a challenge and the pitcher starts his windup before you can get a lead properly.
-
Stop making completing a program contingent upon playing completing some things online. Sure, you can get the Robinson diamond card if you beat all the offline and conquest challenges, but to get the rewards beyond that, you are forced to play online. And as a 40-something year-old player, I don't want the toxic nonsense that comes along with it. Give us the option to complete these offline if we choose. Tons of other customers are saying the same thing on here today.
-
I noticed that there were some offline missions left uncompleted in Jackie Robinson's Stage 1 of this program. But because I completed 35 Program points/stars/whatever in them, I cannot go back and get those points even if I complete those goals.
Huh? What kind of nonsense is that? Really?
Anyway, my two cents, and plenty of others on here today are posting the same thing.

That’s an entitlement problem. Some people seem to think they deserve every reward on their own terms. Until people cut that out, this forum will continue to have those posts.

Play vs. CPU is uninteresting and meaningless. There's a reason why they put it behind the Extended Play menu.
There are no moments that use my DD team.
"Team Affinity" is not a game mode.
Showdown doesn't use my card collection.

There’s always people on here like that. Will always complain about “enough to do”. One guy came on here after the event switched over and said “I already have 150 event wins and made WS! What am I supposed to do with no new event rewards’”
Like dude... you are a small minority of people who can possibly play that much.

I'm looking for meaningful and rewarding things that I can do with my DD cards in singleplayer. Conquest is all there is, which is pathetic.
Play online, then.
Don't want to.
It’s an online gaming mode. Good god.
Then SDS can come here and explicitly say "It's not for you. Diamond Dynasty is not intended to be enjoyed in exclusively singleplayer." Until they do that, I'm going to keep asking for better singleplayer content and if you don't like that, then block me. I don't care.

Block you? And miss out on all the other stupid garbage you spew? Nah.
There is one more alternative...get some friends. Something tells me that’d be the most challenging for you.
