Now I understand why Y2Y saves left and have not returned

Developers are being pulling in a thousand different directions. Something as obvious as being able to continue your franchise into next year's edition of the game gets pushed out.

I thought it was because they expanded to XBOX and Switch. Didn’t want to deal with changing file types. I think Y2Y encourages me to buy the game each year because my progress continues (don’t need to restart).

I was wondering for mlb 26 the show bring back save year to year because I don’t like it when I had to start over

A developer who used to work there named Nick said a couple years ago it is doable but would be time consuming. I'm buying the game every other year now so I can get more out of my franchise. For simmers it's probably not as big a deal but I play all my games.
