I lost a ranked game at Coors and my opponent just butchered that gap in left center at Coors (and I run PCA in center).

He only had one HR but so many late swings off the hands that found it's way to that gap.

Right now I have santander in Lf and pca in cf. What about shading santander towards cf to try and block that gap?

I do this at polo when I play there. I basically set defense deep and have lf/rf shade to gaps

This is obviously giving up the foul line but I haven't had a ton of foul line hits I've noticed this year.

It all depends on your opponent. I usually just stay in “straight up” unless my opponent is consistently hitting to the same area, Then I would adapt my defense accordingly. I definitely wouldn’t take the approach of this is a lefty so I’ll shift accordingly because you have no idea if the opponent is always swinging late or early, ect.

i'd adjust in game, because you do that, next game they are going to burn you with good/perfect hits.
