Franchise Didn’t Need Reinventing, It Needed Respect

Closer entrance cutscenes – "It was so hype when a dominant closer entered the game with a unique walkout. Why would they ever remove that?"
Starting pitcher ovations – "Crowd reactions when a starter pitches 7+ innings strong and walks off? Gone. That used to be such a cool moment."
Manager challenge / replay reviews – "Why did they get rid of the challenge animations? Even just a simple cutscene gave it weight and realism."

Challenges are still in the game. I've had five or six through 40 games. Definitely could be more!

I've confirmed that closer entrance cutscenes do appear for:
Edwin Díaz (Mets)
Josh Hader (Astros)
Andrés Muñoz (Mariners)
However, other stadiums do not seem to have any closer entrance presentation.
Also, it's worth noting that these cutscenes only appear during simulation or CPU-controlled moments.
If you play the game yourself (manual control), the entrance scenes do not trigger. -

I play as the Reds and I saw a closer presentation for Pagan, not sure how accurate it is since he really hasn't been named the closer.

Holton ( Tigers )
Miller ( Athletics )
Hader ( Astros ) - mentioned earlier@SDS_JoeK_PSN can you confirm, that closer entrances ( or even reliever entrances ) are only available for CPU controlled teams, or is this a bug.
When playing vs cpu, I do not see these entrances.
However, having a cpu vs cpu game, and save situation ( tie game going into the 9th on one occasion), then the entrances cutscenes are shown.

It's interesting to see how others play this game. I play manage mode/press box view on fast play and I'd turn cutscenes off completely if I could. In manage mode there is a cut scene to the batter after the first pitch of each plate appearance. If a batter gets a hit there is a cutscene. For user team only there is a cutscene for mound visits and relief pitcher entrances.
What I'd get rid of others enjoy. I also have no interest in DD but clearly many others enjoy it.
