Gotta invest in a monitor. I know a lot of ppl buy one for better gameplay but I brought mine bc I was going through the same with my gf ever since then its been great no more arguing about TV time.

We have a projector setup to broadcast onto the wall next to the TV. essentially it's like having two TVs side by side. I am playing MLB and she is watching her shows on the projector. Win-win

I have a bedroom setup just for gaming in my house and I’m married. She has a Xbox one x in the living room with a 60 inch 4k tv, and in the game room as my son calls it we have the ps4 pro, a 4k tv and my gaming pc setup with desk, monitor and another ps4 pro
I don’t understand how people can only have one tv in the house but to each their own
